Wei Chen grew up in Taiwan. She conducted her Bachelor at the Chinese Culture University and moved to Japan for her Master studies at Tohoku University. While doing her Master's degree, she also went to Maastricht University, the Netherlands to learn coding and Systems Biology. She is interested in both wet lab and dry lab works. She joined the laboratory of Prof. Alex Hajnal in 2022 and will focus on C. elegans during the next few years.
In her free time, she enjoys nature, shopping, and the convenience of electronic devices.
