Stefanie grew up in Vienna, where she persued her studies in Life Sciences. She holds a M.Sc. degree in Molecular Sciences from the University of Vienna. For her M.Sc. thesis she studied the intravasation of cancer cells into the lymphatic system in the lab of Georg Krupitza at the Medical University of Vienna. Stefanie is joining the Hajnal Lab as a Ph.D. student in September 2020, where she will take on new challenges by investigating developmental processes in C.elegans. In her free time she travels the world, tries her way through the Asian Cuisine and loves to dance.
