Michi was born and raised in Zurich, made his apprenticeship at ETH in organic chemistry and started 1997 in the group of Markus Noll as a technician. In 2010 he joined Michael Hengartners group and then moved 2014 to his current position at Alex’ Hajnals lab.

Additional to all the research and technician work in the Hajnal group, he cares about the DMLS social events and maintains the department’s photo wall. He likes colors, in leisure as during work.
