Jonas grew up in Zurich and earned both his Bachelor's and Master's degree in Biochemistry at the University of Zurich. After completion of his Master studies Jonas made the transition from academic to the biotech industry to pursue research closer to medical application. However, after more than 3 years he transitioned back to academia to perform more explorative research once more at the university focusing on the interplay of the metabolism and RAS/MAPK signaling.
In this free time, he enjoys to travel, meet up with friends and sports.
