Moris Camporesi grew up in the canton of Zurich. After his apprenticeship as a biology laboratory technician at the ETH Zurich, he started a bachelor’s degree in biology at the University of Zurich. Early on in his studies, he became interested in neurobiology. A master’s thesis by a friend of his solidified his interest in neural development, which he wanted to pursue in the Stoeckli lab. His project focuses on gaining insight into the formation of boundary cap cell clusters.
In his spare time he likes to photograph with old film cameras, go hiking and the occasional bouldering session.
