Since early years of my life, I have been fascinated by and interested in the mechanisms regulating the human organism. Upon graduation from high school with gold medal in Azerbaijan, I  became passionate to study at the University of Toronto with a double major in Neuroscience and Cell&Molecular Biology. My objective for the following years is to, through studying at the University of Zurich- a world leader in higher education and advanced research, obtain valuable knowledge and skills in Neuroscience, and upon my graduation, work hard to make contribution to the application and development of the neuroscience for the human health. My particular interests at the moment include to study neural circuit formation and neurodevelopmental disorders. For this purpose, I am focusing on the role of primary cilia-a signaling hub- on neurodevelopment. In my free times, I prefer to enjoy art, learn new skills, travel, watch documentaries, and spend quality time with my family and friends.
