Sabina war born in Espoo, Finland and moved to Zurich with her family in her early childhood. She completed her BSc at the UZH in Biology and Neuroinformatics. In 2021, she competed in an international competition for synthetic biology (iGEM), where she got a first taste of molecular biology by creating transgenic bacteria to employ as pesticide alternative. In spring 2023 she joined the Müller lab for her MSc in Neurobiology where she focuses on presynaptic homeostatic plasticity in the mouse cerebellum. In her free time, Sabina enjoys being creative and active.
