Jonas was born in Lucerne Switzerland. He completed his bachelor’s degree in biology and philosophy at the University of Zurich. During his bachelor studies Jonas became deeply fascinated by molecular biology and genetics. In 2024 Jonas joined the Gilmour Lab group as a Master student where he will be studying the role of collagen on basal cell “stemness” in the skin. Besides lab life, Jonas enjoys traveling whenever he can and bringing along his camera.
