Directions

You can find us on the L-Floor of Building 55, on the Irchel Campus of the University of Zurich. The Irchel Campus is readily accessible both by public transportation or by private car.

The Irchel Campus is surrounded by three tram stations (Irchel, Michbuck, Tierspital) and several bus stops (see Maps in the box to the right). Tram schedules and a map of the public transportation system can be found on the ZVV web site.

If arriving by train, get out at the Zurich main station (Zurich Hauptbahnhof). There are multiple tram stops outside the main terminal; see the train station map for details. Take the tram 10 at the stop Bahnhofplatz-Hauptbahnhof in direction Oerlikon. Get out at the Irchel tram stop, and follow the sign pointing you to the Irchel Campus (the tram stop is at the bottom of the campus map).

Tickets for the tram need to be purchased at the blue ticket machine before boarding the tram.

We recommend that you use mapquest or a similar software program to set up your personalized travel itinerary. Our address is Winterthurerstrasse 190, CH-8057 Zurich. The Irchel Campus parking garage, which is open to the public, has its own exit directly off the highway coming from Zurich from the North.

Simplest - and most expensive - is to take a taxi (about 40 CHF). Ask the driver to bring you to the taxi stand at the University of Zurich Irchel Campus (Winterthurerstrasse 190).

If you prefer to use the public transportation system, take a train from the airport train station to Zurich main station (Zurich Hauptbahnhof). Trains leave about every 15 minutes. From there, take the tram 10, as described above.
