Eliane Stirnimann completed an apprenticeship in chicken breeding in Oberglatt. After working as a breeder for several years, she decided to do something different and worked at the Zurich airport for 8 years as a security agent. In 2016, Eliane joined Damian Brunner’s group at the Department of Molecular Life Sciences as a lab assistant.
