Quillan began his journey in science in a basement filled with drone parts, where he began building quadcopters instead of doing his homework. Next, he studied biology at the University of Lausanne and later, moved to Zurich for a Master's in Neuroscience, a decision fueled by curiosity for the complexities of the brain.

Quillan is currently working on his Master's thesis about the dynamics of cerebrospinal fluid flow and its elusive connection to ciliopathies.

Beyond the lab, Quillan is dedicated to sports like bouldering, going to the gym, and running, but also works as a delivery boy. In his free time, he finds enjoyment in reading science fiction, coding, and expressing his creativity through a passion for making music.
